Frequently Asked Questions

Will my smartphone be safe?

Yes. The HotDive H2 uses a smart air pump system and sealed structure to create a vacuum in the case. This means you don’t need to worry about water or depth pressure affecting your smartphone. HotDive H2 provide extra care for your phone by adopting the single sealing valve technology. Let me explain like this, HotDive H2 sealing tunnel is one way and seal inside the valve above, you only screw open the valve when you are starting or finishing your dive. Unless you want to sabotage your phone on purpose so you change change the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB Sierra Blue. Well, it’s your choice. Or there is no way the valve is leaking or doing any harm to your phone on it’s own.

What is the difference between HotDive H2 and HotDive H2 Pro?

The HotDive model does not have a dive computer and smart functions as HotDive Pro.

Why do I need the smart air pump system?

The smart air pump system allows for no fog photos to be taken at depth. As you dive further, water pressure leads to fog on the lenses. Hot plugs and desiccants can work to get rid of fog, but they don’t actually create an optimal vacuum so fog can’t form. HotDive uses an independent air extraction system allowing its contents to be in a perfect vacuum. This means fog can’t form at depth on lenses, leading to perfect underwater photos.

How much depth I can dive?

You can dive up to 80m(262 feet) with the HotDive and HotDive Pro. The HotDive case itself can dive even deeper but we didn’t do the factory leak test after 80m(262 feet).

Will case be compatible my iPhone or Android phone?

Yes. The HotDive is compatible with all iPhones and Android phones as long as the size is smaller than 168mm(6.6 inches) x 84mm(3.3 inches) x 10mm(0.4 inches). Here is the scuba phone case Hotdive compatibility chart and you can check if your phone are compatible with HotDive H2/H2 Pro.

Will water get into the case when it is out of battery during a dive?

No. Thanks to its top sealed structure design the HotDive will keep your phone safe even when the case battery is run out. The valve can only open by the user himself manually.
